Marissa completed her Masters in Biology at Lakehead University in 2019, entitled “Evaluating Spatial Variation in Food Web Connectivity and Energetics within the Lake Superior Fish Community”. [link to MSc thesis]

She also completed her undergraduate degree at Lakehead (Honour’s Bachelor of Environmental Science) with an Undergraduate Honours thesis in our lab, examining how the community composition of Thunder Bay baitshops compared with local fish communities.
