Emianka was a co-op student at the University of Manitoba in 2012. She investigated differences in Yellow Perch energy densities among lakes. She is now Dr. Emianka Sotiri, a graduate of the Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland, and practicing family medicine in Ontario.
