Sarah Warrack

Sarah is an MSc student at the University of Manitoba, co-supervised with Mark Hanson.  She is investigating the influence of nutrients on settling rates and dynamics of microplastics in mesocosm experiments, and using this information to contextualize concentrations and loading to Lake Winnipeg. She also did an undergraduate thesis with us at the University of Manitoba evaluating concentrations of microplastics in the Red and Assiniboine Rivers, and was an author and key player in our 2017 paper on microplastics.
