Victoria Langen

Victoria Langen is currently an MSc candidate in the CEE Lab. Her thesis, “The effects of invasive dreissenid mussels, Dreissena polymorpha and Dreissena rostriformis bugensis, on the Lake Simcoe ecosystem” is focused on investigating how dreissenid mussels influence offshore environments of ecosystems, particularly with regards to changes in offshore fish communities.

Most of Victoria’s fieldwork takes place in Lake Simcoe, in Southern Ontario. She completed her Honour’s Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Lakehead University.
