Sandy Chalanchuk is a fisheries technician and worked at the Experimental Lakes Area for as long as there was a fish program running at the site. I was lucky enough to work with Sandy my first couple of years at ELA where she showed me the ropes and how everything worked. She is still a great friend, and I consider her one of my formative mentors. She enjoys retirement in Winnipeg, enjoying catching up on magazines, gardening and making sure Doug doesn’t get into too much trouble.
